Our Mission

Environmental work shouldn't mean drowning in spreadsheets. [GRYD] was created by people who've lived the pain of manual data validation, guideline lookups, and last-minute reporting scrambles — on wellsite closures, agricultural salinity assessments, and contaminated-site remediation alike.

We're building an intelligence layer for environmental data — one that automates the tedious, catches what humans miss, and gives environmental scientists, consultants, geologists, engineers, and agrologists the confidence to make defensible decisions faster.

Data Privacy & Enterprise Security

[GRYD] is local-first by design. Lab results, screening output, and exceedance data live entirely in your browser's IndexedDB and your Excel workbook — never on our servers. Only public regulatory limits (Alberta Tier 1, Tier 2A, CCME, and others) are served from a CDN, and they're cached locally so the app works offline. Authentication uses Microsoft Entra External ID, so your team uses the same enterprise identity they already trust.

[GRYD] is a product of Kalmorn Tech Ltd., based in Calgary, Alberta — the heart of Western Canada's environmental consulting industry. Built by environmental professionals, for environmental professionals.

We started with a simple observation: the people closing the file — on wellsites, on salinity-impacted quarter sections, on contaminated sites — spend too much time on data wrangling and not enough on the interpretation and decisions that actually matter.
